Our Beliefs
· The Bible…as the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. It has been given to teach us about life, priorities and our destiny. (2 Timothy 3:16).
· The Fullness of the Godhead…there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. (I John 5:7; 2 Corinthians 13:14.
· Salvation…through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. His Lordship in our dedicated life of holiness. (I Peter 2:24; St John 1:1-5; Romans 10:9-10)
· Water Baptism…Water Baptism is encouraged for all who have accepted Jesus Christ as Savior. The act of immersion is documented in Scripture as the pattern which Christ asked us to follow. We believe in Water Baptism as an outward identification of salvation and identification with Christ in His death and resurrection. The symbolic action of our death to the sinful nature of man and resurrection to new life in Jesus Christ.
· The Holy Spirit Baptism & Ministry…baptism with the Holy Spirit, including the Fruit of the Spirit evident in the life of the believer according to Acts 2:4 and in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. (Acts 10:44-46 & Galatians 5:22).
· In The Deity of our Lord Jesus Christ…in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return to this earth in power and glory to rule as King of Kings and Lord of Lords (Acts 1:11; Matt 16:16; Matt 24:30-31; I Cor. 15:3-4).
· The Five Fold Ministry With Signs Following…God has set in the church for the perfecting of the saints as Workers together with God. (Eph. 4:11-13; 2 Cor 6:1).
· Prayer For the Sick…accepting the ultimate authority of the Scripture, we practice praying for the sick and believing God for supernatural miraculous healings. "Is any sick among you...?" (James 5:14-15; Mark 16:17-18; 2 Cor. 3:6; Rom 8:14-17).
· Communion…the celebration of Communion is the priviledge of all New Covenant believers that Jesus and his disciples celebrated before his death and resurrection. The elements are symbolic of His shed blood and broken body. We do so “In Remembrance of His Death until He comes”. The celebration of communion is open to all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
· Baby Dedication…the Baby Dedication Service is an act of parents dedicating their child to God. Recognizing him to be God’s gift to them, it is the parent’s responsibility to raise the child in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
